Privacy policy

In short
To use TradeLog you create an account with your email address. Your trades, notes, account details and settings are stored in your account, so every device you sign in on shows the same data. We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except to provide the service.
What we process
- Account: your email address, when your account was created and when you sign in. Your password is stored only as an irreversible hash. If you sign in with Google, the name and profile photo link Google shares are also saved to your account.
- Your journal: trades, notes, playbooks, daily and weekly notes, account names, account numbers, server names, balances and cash movements, settings.
- Technical logs: IP address and browser details, kept briefly in server logs for security and debugging.
What we use it for
To provide the service, verify your sign-in (including password reset and confirmation emails), sync your data across devices and keep the service secure. Statistics calculated from your data are shown only to you.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on servers in Germany (Frankfurt) through our infrastructure provider Supabase and travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). For fast start-up and offline use, a copy is also kept on your device; it is removed when you sign out.
Reports you upload
MT4/MT5 reports are read on your device; the report file itself is not uploaded, only the trades and account details taken from it are saved to your account. We never ask for your account password.
Share links
When you share a trade or a weekly recap, a copy of it as it is at that moment is created and anyone with the link can see it. Your notes, money amounts and screenshots are included only if you choose. We count how many times the link is opened. When you turn the link off in Settings → My share links, the copy and its images are deleted.
MT4/MT5 account connection
If you connect your account, your server name, account number and investor (read-only) password are sent to MetaApi (metaapi.cloud), the service provider that makes the connection; its servers may be outside your country. We don't store your investor password. MetaApi reads your account's trade history, and from it we take your closed trades (symbol, side, lots, entry/exit price and time, SL/TP, profit, commission, swap), deposit/withdrawal records, broker name, account currency and balance. The investor password can't open trades or withdraw money. When you remove the connection or delete your membership, the connection at MetaApi is deleted too.
TradeLog AI
When you ask TradeLog AI, your question and a summary of your current account view (statistics, setup/symbol/day breakdowns, details and notes of your last 60 trades, journal entries from the last two weeks) are sent to Anthropic's Claude service to produce the answer; its servers may be outside your country. Your email address and account numbers are not sent. Questions and answers are not stored on our servers; the chat stays on your device, and we only keep a daily question count for cost control.
Mentor access
Someone you invite as a mentor, who opens the invite link and signs in with the same email, can see the data in your account read-only; they can't change it. Access ends as soon as you remove it in Settings → Mentor access.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, the account and all its data are deleted right away and permanently.
Third-party services
Supabase (database, sign-in and email). When the page loads, fonts come from Google Fonts and libraries from cdnjs and jsDelivr; these services may see technical details such as your IP address when they serve those files. We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies; we only see aggregate numbers (page views, country, device type) and no identifier is created for you. Sign-in emails (confirmation, password reset) are sent through Resend. We use no advertising or tracking cookies. Your session is kept in your browser's local storage.
Your rights
You can ask whether your data is processed, request information, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object. From Settings → Profile you can download your data or delete your account completely. For other requests, write to the address on the Contact page.
Telegram
If you use TradeLog inside Telegram without an account, your data stays in the cloud space Telegram gives this app and Telegram's privacy terms apply. The Telegram version will be phased out; you can move your data to your web account with a backup.
Changes
This policy will be updated when Pro and payments arrive. We announce important changes on the site and by email.
